General Terms and Conditions and Customer Information
Last updated: October 2026
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed through the online shop operated by
Yaman Abdi
trading as Lucid Rebellion
Theodorstraße 10
31241 Ilsede
Germany
Email: lucidrebell.official@gmail.com
hereinafter referred to as the “Seller”.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or self-employed professional activity.
An entrepreneur is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity who, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of their trade, business or self-employed professional activity.
Any conflicting or deviating terms and conditions of a customer shall only become part of the contract if the Seller has expressly agreed to their applicability.
2. Products and Print-on-Demand
The online shop offers, in particular, books, clothing, mugs, accessories and other products of the Lucid Rebellion brand.
Some products may only be manufactured by a production or print-on-demand partner after the order has been received. The respective production partner does not thereby become the customer’s contractual partner. The Seller remains the customer’s contractual partner and point of contact.
Print-on-demand does not automatically mean that a product is individually customised according to the customer’s personal specifications. Statutory consumer rights, in particular the right of withdrawal and statutory rights in relation to defects, therefore generally remain unaffected.
The characteristics of the goods are determined by the respective product description. Minor, technically unavoidable colour variations may occur, particularly due to different screen settings. Statutory rights in the event of an actual defect remain unaffected.
3. Conclusion of the Contract
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer but rather an invitation to the customer to place an order.
The customer may initially place products in the shopping cart without obligation. Before submitting the order, the customer may review and amend the information entered using the correction options provided during the ordering process.
By clicking the final order button, the customer submits a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract for the products contained in the shopping cart.
Immediately after receipt of the order, the customer will receive an automatic confirmation by email. Unless the email expressly states that the contractual offer has been accepted, this confirmation merely confirms receipt of the order.
The Seller may accept the customer’s offer within five days by
sending the customer an express order confirmation,
dispatching the goods and informing the customer accordingly,
requesting payment from the customer, or
collecting payment through the selected payment service provider.
The relevant point in time is when one of these actions first occurs.
For payment methods in which the payment process is completed immediately during the ordering process, the contract may already be concluded upon successful completion of the payment transaction.
If the Seller does not accept the offer within the stated period, the customer is no longer bound by the order. Any payments already made will be refunded in this case.
4. Contract Language and Storage of the Contract Text
The contract may be concluded in the languages offered in the online shop. In particular, German and English are intended to be available.
The Seller stores the order data in accordance with statutory retention obligations.
The customer will receive the order details and these General Terms and Conditions by email or may access them in connection with the order. These General Terms and Conditions may also be accessed and saved at any time via the online shop.
If a customer account is offered, orders may be viewed there for the period during which they remain available.
5. Prices and Shipping Costs
The prices stated in the product listings are total prices.
Where the Seller applies the small business regulation pursuant to Section 19 of the German Value Added Tax Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz – UStG), VAT is not shown separately.
Shipping costs may apply in addition to the product price. The amount of the shipping costs will be displayed to the customer no later than in the shopping cart or during checkout before the customer submits a binding order.
For deliveries to countries outside the European Union, additional import duties, customs charges, taxes or fees may arise. These are imposed by the relevant authorities or service providers and are generally payable by the customer unless they have already been calculated during checkout and collected by the Seller.
6. Payment Terms
The payment methods available in the online shop will be displayed to the customer during checkout.
Unless otherwise stated for the respective payment method, payment is due immediately after conclusion of the contract.
Payment processing may be carried out by external payment service providers. Their respective contractual terms and privacy policies may additionally apply.
The Seller reserves the right not to offer certain payment methods depending on the country of delivery, order value or the outcome of a legally permissible payment or fraud check.
7. Delivery and Delivery Areas
Delivery is made exclusively to countries and territories that can be selected as a delivery address during checkout.
The estimated delivery time is stated in the respective product description, shopping cart or checkout.
For print-on-demand products, the stated delivery time may consist of the production time plus the subsequent shipping time.
Orders containing multiple products may be delivered in separate packages, particularly where the products originate from different production or shipping locations. The customer will not incur any additional shipping costs as a result of partial deliveries initiated by the Seller.
Where the customer is a consumer, the risk of accidental loss of or accidental damage to the goods generally passes to the customer or a recipient designated by the customer only upon delivery.
8. Delivery Address and Undeliverable Shipments
The customer is responsible for providing a complete and correct delivery address during the ordering process.
If the customer discovers an error in the delivery address after submitting the order, the customer should contact the Seller immediately. A subsequent change can only be taken into account as long as the order has not yet been forwarded for production or dispatch.
If a shipment is returned to the Seller or the production partner due to an incorrect or incomplete address for which the customer is responsible, refusal to accept the shipment or failure to collect it in time, the customer may be required to pay the actual shipping costs incurred for reshipment.
This does not apply if the customer is not responsible for the unsuccessful delivery or if the customer is simultaneously validly exercising their statutory right of withdrawal.
9. Voluntary Cancellation Before Processing
After placing an order, the customer may request a voluntary cancellation from the Seller.
Cancellation is only possible as long as the order has not yet been released for processing or forwarded to a production, print-on-demand, fulfilment or shipping service provider.
The customer should therefore send the cancellation request immediately, stating the order number, to lucidrebell.official@gmail.com.
This voluntary cancellation option does not create an entitlement to cancellation if processing or production has already begun.
The customer’s statutory right of withdrawal and statutory rights in relation to defects remain fully unaffected.
10. Right of Withdrawal
Consumers generally have a statutory right of withdrawal in relation to distance contracts.
Further details can be found in the separate Withdrawal Policy and the model withdrawal form provided there.
Where required by law, the online shop provides an electronic withdrawal function through which consumers may submit a withdrawal declaration.
In the event of a standard withdrawal, the customer bears the direct costs of returning the goods, provided that the customer was properly informed of this before conclusion of the contract.
This does not apply to returns resulting from defective, damaged or incorrectly delivered goods. In such cases, the statutory rights in relation to defects apply.
11. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal for Genuine Custom-Made Products
The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular, to goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual choice or decision by the customer is decisive, or which are clearly tailored to the customer’s personal needs.
This may include, for example, products featuring a personal name requested by the customer, the customer’s own text, a personal photograph or an individually commissioned design.
The mere selection of an offered standard size, standard colour or pre-existing design does not generally constitute such customisation.
12. Statutory Liability for Defects
The statutory rights in relation to defects apply.
If the delivered goods are defective, damaged or do not correspond to the order, the customer may, in particular, request subsequent performance. Depending on the applicable statutory requirements, withdrawal from the contract, a reduction in the purchase price or damages may also be available.
In the case of justified claims relating to defects, the Seller bears the costs incurred for subsequent performance or any required return shipment.
An additional guarantee exists only where expressly stated for the respective product. Statutory rights in relation to defects are not restricted by any guarantee.
The customer is requested to report visible transport damage to the carrier as soon as possible and to inform the Seller. Failure to make such a report does not restrict the customer’s statutory rights.
13. Retention of Title
The delivered goods remain the property of the Seller until the purchase price has been paid in full.
14. Fixed Book Prices
For books subject to fixed pricing that are sold to end customers in Germany, the retail prices established in accordance with the German Book Price Fixing Act (Buchpreisbindungsgesetz) apply.
Discount promotions, promotional codes and other price reductions do not apply to books subject to fixed pricing where such a discount is not permitted under the German Book Price Fixing Act.
15. Promotional and Discount Codes
Promotional or discount codes issued free of charge may only be redeemed under the respective stated conditions and within the specified promotional period.
Promotional codes cannot generally be redeemed for cash and cannot subsequently be applied to orders that have already been completed.
Multiple promotional codes may only be combined where this is expressly permitted.
Certain products or product groups, in particular books subject to fixed pricing, may be excluded from discount promotions.
16. Liability
The Seller shall be liable in accordance with the statutory provisions.
This applies in particular to damages resulting from injury to life, body or health and to damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct.
Statutory claims under the German Product Liability Act and statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
17. Applicable Law
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.
In relation to consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as it does not deprive them of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the country in which they have their habitual residence.
18. Place of Jurisdiction
The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply to consumers.
If the customer is a merchant, a legal entity under public law or a special fund under public law, the Seller’s place of business shall be the place of jurisdiction for disputes arising from the contractual relationship, insofar as legally permissible.
19. Consumer Dispute Resolution
The Seller is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
20. Final Provisions
Should any provision of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the statutory provisions and the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
